New York Times bestselling author William D. Danko and Richard J. Van Ness, wrote the research-based book,  Richer Than A Millionaire ~ A Pathway to True Prosperity, which shows the way to wealth and happiness through embracing traditional values.

Our reason for writing the book…

As educators, parents, and grandparents, we have extensively searched—and researched—for answers to two questions: What does it mean to be richer than a millionaire? And how does one reach that status? Although we reveal our findings for a likely pathway to true prosperity, it is important to recognize that, regardless of wealth accumulation, all of us are merely custodians of the material things in our lives.

The purpose of this book is to help readers (especially young people about to embark on life’s journey) answer this very question: Is being a millionaire even a worthy goal? If the answer is yes, this book offers guidelines and inspiration for the venture.

For most, it is a challenge to become a millionaire. But even if millionaire status is attained, there is no guarantee that satisfaction will follow. In fact—and as our empirical evidence shows—it is possible to hold a modest financial net worth and be very happy.

All things considered, being rich and happy is not a bad goal; it is the American dream. In our view, being modestly wealthy (in a material sense) and happy is a very close second. It is difficult to imagine a life without happiness, no matter the level of financial net worth.
